One woman was killed and three others were injured after a side-by-side utility task vehicle hit a deer over the weekend in Iowa.
According to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol, four people were in the UTV Saturday in Muscatine, Iowa when it hit a deer, went into a ditch and rolled over multiple times. Three people were taken to an area hospital with injuries, and one person died from the crash.
Muscatine is a town along the Iowa-Illinois border, about 30 miles southwest of Davenport, Iowa.
The woman was identified in the crash report as 58-year-old Elizabeth A. Hackett of Muscatine.
The extent of the injuries for the other three people is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing, Iowa State Patrol wrote in the crash report.
