ESPN's latest move in an overhaul of its NBA coverage involves Malika Andrews, who will replace Mike Greenberg as host for the NBA Finals, according to the New York Post.
Greenberg was the host for the past two years.
Lead analyst Jeff Van Gundy was laid off last month, and Mark Jackson was let go shortly after, leaving play-by-play Mike Breen with a new team for this upcoming season. Breen will be teamed with analyst Doris Burke and former NBA coach Doc Rivers on the network's No. 1 announcing team.
According to the report, ESPN and Greenberg came to a decision to leave "NBA Countdown" due to his busy schedule, which includes hosting the morning show "Get Up", and hosting NFL draft duties.
The 28-year-old Andrews will continue in her role for the daily show "NBA Today."
